• December 6th, 2003 - Grading Day
  The fourth grading day for USMA for 2003 was highly successful with many new Gup promotions.
• November 16th, 2003 - Demonstration at Summerhill Road fete
  A big thankyou to all students who participated in the demonstration at Summerhill Road fete:

  Techniques demonstrated :
  USMA demonstrated patterns, 1step sparring, 2 step sparring and board breaks to an appreciative audience.
• October 18th, 2003 -Training Day
  USMA completed a successful training day with emphasis on power breaking and special techniques to prepare for our November demonstration.
• September 28th, 2003 - Grading Day
  USMA completed a successful third grading day for 2003 at Ashburton. The Black Belt grading began at 9:00 am and Tanya and Nichole Kozaris both achieved their Second Degree Black Belts, while Halim Erbasi, Fatih Emre Sahan, Muhammed Ozgur, Yavuz Ozgur, Chi Zhang and Ben Kioussis achieved their First Degree Black Belts.The black belt grading was completed after almost 5 hours of testing.
  Gup students who graded later in the day also performed at a very high standard and were all rewarded for their hard work at the end of a long day. Congratulations to all !! Photos will be available soon.
• September 20th, 2003 - Training Session with Grand Master Leong Wei Meng
  The United School of Martial Arts  were honoured to have Grand Master Leong Wei Meng, IX Dan, in an afternoon session of training at the Ashburton Recreation Center. Grand Master Leong is one of four Grand Masters in the International Taekwondo Federation along with Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha, Grand Master Hwang Kwang Sung and Grand Master Park Jong Soo. Grand Master Leong demonstrated the finer points of the art and fundamental movements.

• September 10th, 2003 - Ormond Demonstration Day
  Ormond Primary School taekwon-do students performed at the Moorabbin Town Hall in front of a sell out audience of 500 people. They showed courage, skill and confidence and all juniors broke boards for the first time. Another great effort, Ormond !
• September 6th, 2003 - Ormond Primary School Grading Day
  The first grading day for Ormond Primary School took place - the students showed  a high level of technique, discipline and knowlege to pass their grading successfully - Well done, Ormond !
• August 17th, 2003 - USMA Intra-club Tournament
  8:30 - 4:30 pm at the Ashburton Recreation Centre

• June 1st, 2003 - Grading Day
  The second grading day for USMA for 2003 was held at Ashburton from 9:30 am until completion.
• May 18th, 2003 - Seminar
  Our first seminar for 2003 will be a morning seminar on Step Sparring (focussing on 3 step and 2 step) followed by an afternoon seminar on free sparring. The day will be at Ashburton from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm.
• Mar 16th, 2003 - Grading Day
  The first grading day for USMA for 2003 will be held at Ashburton from 9:30 am until completion.
