Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha completed two seminars in Melbourne and in the Gold Coast. Not since the visit of General Choi, Founder of Taekwon-Do, has there
been a more successful taekwon-do seminar series conducted in Australia. We are also proud to have had Master Paul Cutler's support, attending and advising during
the two seminars. The knowledge given to our students reminds us of General Choi, and his unique way of instruction which lives on through Grand Master Rhee.
Grand Master Rhee was General Choi's greatest ever student and is the ITF First GrandMaster (Soosok Susung Nim).
It is important to acknowledge that Master Wong traveled from Western Australia and Master Rua travelled from New Zealand for the event in Melbourne,
while in the Gold Coast, Master Tam Fook Chee was there showing his support for the Greatest of Taekwondoists. As one of the Hosts,
I would like to thank all those Masters and Instructors for supporting these successful Seminars.
I would also like to congratulate Master Michael Kordanovski for his Master Instructor achievement.
It is important to thank my friend and colleague Sabum Steven Luxmoore for all.

Sabum Cariotis on his wonderful achievement in opening the USMA headquarters which he acknowledged as a credit to ITF Taekwon-Do. The Grand Master
also briefed Sabum Cariotis in regards to the Interim Executive and the new presidency.
Grand Master Leong Wei Meng was a member of the famous ITF Demonstration Team in the 70's which included Grand Master Rhee and

Sabum Cariotis comments that Australian ITF practionioners have suffered because of the practices of a few unethical, irresponsible and greedy
people who are no longer with the Australian ITF, and Taekwon-Do can finally be shared by all students, Instructors and Masters with fairness.
Sabum Cariotis and USMA's instructors will support the new NGB and will do what is their power to support the "All Australian Taekwon-Do Association".
USMA Headquarters Opening Ceremony
Sunday 26th March, 2006 marks a proud day in the history of USMA as the dquarters of USMA was formally opened.
The Honourable Simon Crean MP, Member for Hotham, opened the new centre during the annual Clayton Community Festival.
The USMA Demonstration Teams performed at both the Ashburton and estivals simultaneously as two local communities housing USMA schools
were celebrating with festivals on the same day. Many thanks to our Demo you made us proud once again! And once again USMA raised the ITF flag high
and people were able to see General Choi's Taekwondo demonstrated as a full martial art in all its splendour.
Sabum Cariotis notes the interesting comments from prominent Koreans in the Clayton area: "Your style is the most powerful that we have seen
and experienced and it is not just a sport but is a complete Martial Art" and mments in response that "The original Taekwon-Do is a universal art -
it was created by General Choi Hong Hi, who was proudly Korean, but it was given by him for everyone."
Special thanks to:
- Mr John Ravlic
- Mr John Cassell
- Boosabum Michael Corry
- Boosabum Julia Fogarty
- Boosabum Lisa Wise
for all their hard work and dedication in making the day successful

Sabum Cariotis visits country Victoria
Sabum Spiridon Cariotis travelled to country Victoria hoping to persuade representatives of former ITF schools to rejoin the ITF. Many schools have left the ITF
in recent times and the decline of membership of
the ITF was evident at the Oceanic Championships in 2004 where the attendance was very disappointing. Sabum Cariotis and USMA Taekwon-Do are committed
to raising the profile of ITF Taekwon-Do within Australia and
working for the benefit of all practitioners of General Choi's martial art.

This Master's purpose was the teach General Choi's art form, spiritually and technically.
