Supporting the USMA Community

Friends of USMA

Friends of USMA (FOUSMA) is a non-profit organisation founded by students and families of USMA Taekwondo.
Its purpose is to support and promote the students and activities of USMA, helping create opportunities that go beyond regular training.

FOUSMA plays an important role in building the wider USMA community through events, fundraising, and student support.

This includes:

  • fundraising to support students attending tournaments and events
  • contributing towards training equipment and development
  • organising Taekwondo camps and seminars
  • running social events such as BBQs and group activities
  • creating opportunities for students and families to connect outside of class

These activities help strengthen the sense of community within USMA and make the overall experience more rewarding for students and their families.

One of the key goals of FOUSMA is to make Taekwondo more accessible and supportive for everyone.

This includes:

  • helping students participate in events they may not otherwise be able to attend
  • encouraging involvement in Taekwondo at all levels
  • promoting the benefits of training to the wider community

As a member of USMA Taekwondo, you and your family will be invited to take part in FOUSMA activities and events throughout the year.

FOUSMA reflects what USMA Taekwondo is all about—a supportive, respectful, and connected group of people working towards shared goals.
It brings together students, parents, and instructors in a way that extends beyond the dojang.
