Pee Wee Taekwondo Classes
Our Pee Wee program is designed for children aged 5 to 8 years, with a strong focus on developing coordination, balance, confidence, and the fundamental skills of Taekwondo. At this early stage, children begin learning the building blocks of martial arts through patterns, fundamental movements, basic techniques, and simple partner work. These early lessons create a strong platform for their ongoing physical development, fitness, focus, and personal growth.
Just as importantly, we work to create a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment where children can enjoy learning while developing important life skills. We believe Taekwondo should be exciting and engaging for young students but also grounded in the core values of the martial art — including courtesy, respect, self-control, and perseverance.
For many children, the Pee Wee years are where confidence begins to grow. They learn how to listen, follow instruction, work with others, and take pride in their progress. These are valuable skills that carry over into school, home life, and everyday situations.
We also know that starting something new can feel like a big step for both children and parents. That’s why we aim to make the experience positive from day one, helping each child settle in at their own pace while feeling encouraged and supported throughout their journey.

Parents Are Welcome Too
If you’re a parent who has ever thought about joining in, we strongly encourage it.
Training alongside your child can be a fantastic way to:
- build their confidence
- share an activity together
- lead by example
- create a stronger connection to their Taekwondo journey
It also helps children see that learning, discipline, and personal growth are important at every age. Of course, if you do join, just be prepared — they may decide they want to out-rank you one day 😉
